thus only 8 months in the first "year", but annualized, that's still only aprox. 5000. But, there are other Z3 models available, so if someone wanted a Z3 and couldn't get an M, they could, if they wanted to, buy a 2.8L or 2.5L...not so w/ the Honda.

: 2. There were less than 5000 M Roadsters produced for the US in it's first year...something like 3500 (?)....that's 30% less than anticipated units coming in from Honda.
