$34,000 is still a relatively high amount to pay for a car, and with the waiting lists the Honda's street price will probably be close to the M Roadster's. I'm 90% certain that the S2000 will be great, due to the guy that designed it. But it is a new engine, unproven in the long run, that is supposed to be revved pretty hard in order to get the most out of it. (The MZ3 has the proven M3 engine). The smart thing to do would be to wait till next year on the S2000. Hopefully the price will come down and any bugs in the engine will have been discovered by then. Of course, if you NEED a new car now (like I did when I got my MZ3 -- my old car's engine blew), by all means be one of the guinea pigs. It does look like a cool car.
