So, I was cleaning my car today and stumbled across some yuck - my exhaust pipes. (I have an M roadster).
: Yick. Lots of crap and ick on these bad boys. Check out the black stuff in the tubes (there was a little water in the pipes still when I took this picture).

:

Is anyone else anal enough to want to clean out the insides of their exhaust pipes?

: So, anyway, I thought I'd clean 'em out a little bit. Even after some cleaning, they still didn't seem particularily bright, so I used some polishing compound on the left of the two (in the shot below, the left tube I used "P21S MULTI-SURFACE FINISH RESTORER POLISH") - on the right one, I just used glass cleaner and some Maguires quick detailer (I had those two things handy ).

: Notice the nice "shine" in the left one.

Is anyone else this anal about this and want the inside of their exhaust pipes clean too? The more times I wash this thing, the more places I find to clean. Hehehe.

: Pete
