Things that stay stocked in my rear console: 15SPF Coppertone Sports Cream (the blue tube) and paper towels. I personally find the 30 to be greasy but the 15 goes on almost like powder and doesn't run in sweat. Back when I was autocrossing in Tennessee, I found the 15 was just enough to carry me from 9am to 5pm and didn't run with sweat during those hot summer autocrosses. Other things in console - bottle of Windex, Maglight (doesn't roll around as bad as trunk), V1 when parked inside my garage, and my 20oz Diet Coke (plastic) empties with the screw-top on tight to prevent any leaks.

: Literally!!! SF Bay Area weather has been holding up the very nicely the past several days. I couldn't resist driving around all weekend with the top down. Ahh, to enjoy a nice leisurely drive on a warm sunny day. . .
: I guess the sun got the better of me though. Nothing worse than burnt lips and trying to grin while driving (grin, ouch, grin, ouch. . .). My wife and I were glowing red by the end of the weekend.
: This is my first convertible and not use to preparing for the sun while driving. I wish BMW gave out token sunscreen kits to new owners! Shame on me for not preparing the correct SPF Rx before the trip! I should have learned from my first experience when I rented a Miata back in '95. Actually, that experience was pretty funny. My wife (girlfriend at the time) was wearing a sun dress and the seat belt gave her a nasty tan line across her chest.
