: I have a late 99 build M-Roadster and the dealer has had the worst time finding me a cupholder. From subscribing to this board, I understand that this should be a straight swap (no cost). Well, after a month of searching, my dealer finally located the cupholder replacement for my car and left me a message that it will cost $50. I will call them back and tell them there is no way I was paying for this replacement specially since they told me at time of purchase it was a "swap". Is there a technical bulleting from BMW that supports me on this? If so, would anyone have the bulletin number?
: Thanks,

My 99 M roadster (Nov. build) came with the cupholders but they are useless. They are at the back of the console right where your elbow will knock over anything that you place in the holders.
However, they should be free. I had a 97 2.8 and they gave me the free cupholders for it.
