: I do have the roll hoops. Did you remove the grill and all components from the HK subwoofer? Sounds like we have a good swap if all of the parts will go to each car. I guess I would need your cover piece between the hoops, etc. By the way, why did you pull the sub?

: : I pulled my HK sub last weekend. I'll trade it for the storage pieces (I don't know if they'll fit though. Do you have the roll bars?).

: : : I assume there would be a few other replacement parts if the storage has to come out.

: : : : The HK subwoofers (there are two) are not too bad considering what they had to work with. The problem is not with the subs but with the factory amp (which is grossly under-powered). I'm running a ADS P840 amp and 2 of it's 8 channels are feeding 40 watts RMS to each of the subs. The quality and quantity of the bass is far better than it was with the factory amp. It is not a "booming" system by any stretch but I would consider it to be adequate (in other words, most people would be very happy with it). I would suggest picking up the factory sub (if reasonably priced) and replacing the factory POS amp with a more suitable aftermarket replacement.
