plug. What I did was use a screwdriver with a long shank and a small (real thin and narrow) slot type end. Then I placed the end between the door metal and the plug and used my hand as the folcum point (this protects the paint, any slipping the screwdriver does is away from the car body) to pop it out. It takes a little hard pressure, but it came right out.. I then used a paint can opener ( like a church key type) and it worked great. They also look REALLY GREAT!!! IMHO. BruceT
