Take your pick. Napa/Sonoma: I like Oakville Cross(Napa side)-Trinity Rd.(Sonoma Side). From Oakville in Napa, turn West off 29. Entertaining, mostly 2nd gear road. Re-paved not too long ago. Becomes Trinity Rd. on Sonoma Side, and hooks up with major Sonoma artery, 12? Lots to do, but lots of tourists too.
I know you don't like the coast, but 128 off 101 from Cloverdale to the coast, just south of Mendocino is nice. Top-tier sparkling wineries in Anderson Valley along the way. Not as many tourists..
: Only rules
: some fun turns, no construction, lots-o-sun
: : Around Bear Creek Rd. on both Hwy 9 and 35, there's construction according to www.doc.ca.gov. ETAK's had construction advisories on Bear Creek Rd. itself. But then it might be nothing worth worrying about - haven't seen it first hand.
: : Keep us informed time/meeting places - I might make it. Gotta be back before my Fiancee gets in from LA, though :-)
: : Did SCruz-> Hwy9-> Hwy35-> Hwy84-> Hwy1-> SCruz on my way into the office last sunday :-) Spent most of the time on Hwy 9 north of Boulder Creek stuck behind a Legend doing 10 under the limit and ignoring the 8 "Slower Traffic Use Turnouts" signs and their accompanying turnouts. Then my V1 warned me about the Sheriff (San Mateo?) car on Hwy 35, but he was trolling for bikers anyways.

: : : It's just to nice not to, I will even if I do alone.
: : : not shure where, just need to run,
: : : ( not the coast to much chance of clouds )
: : : how about Skyline to to 9, then 9 to Bear creek
: : : ( someone said that's a good run once )
: : : and then Bear Creek to 17.
: : : I don't care where, just as long as it's sunny and
: : : it's got some turns.
: : : it's been far to long,
: : : Winter winter go away !!, let it rain some other day, cause babe she just want to play
