Well I finally did it, I sent my $330 to MG Racing and got an inner cover. My wife Rose & I installed it last night. It took about an hour working carefully and slowly, we did it at duck so some things were hard to see and required a flashlight. In the daylight I guess I could do another one in 30 mins.
Some random thoughts:
1. It looks great, really finishes off the interior. You don't see the struts etc.
2. It helps to have another person. When you're first starting to put it in the cover hangs down in your face, it's a little like wrestling an octopus.
3. Be prepared for the fact that the plastic sleeves on the top struts are TOUGH to get off and back on. Nothing a little gruntin' and cussin' won't handle though. If you have long nails you might have a tougher time...
4. I took one short drive around the block, it SEEMED quieter but it will tkae a highway drive to be sure.
Anyway, I think it was well worth $330.
