In Reply to: Dealer's Dealing Z3s? posted by Green-Z on April 04, 1999 at 17:36:00:

: I have a '96 Z3 1.9 that I adore, but I'm finding my eyes wandering toward the new restyled 2000 Z3. When I bought my Z3 dealers were not selling them for less than full sticker. With the Boxter, TT, SLK, and others coming out I would think that dealers would give some discounting now. Does anyone have the story on what dealers attitudes are?

I used dealer invoice deducted 2.2% holdback deducted 1000 dealer incentive from invoice price then added 5% profit. They took my offer first time no hassle and threw in windscreen 150 value retail.Mine retailed at 37,000 I paid 32,000 plus sales tax and license only. The best car buying experience of my life.No added bull or haggling.Of course I just bought 99 and hinted at 2000 order they had (5) 99 2.3s all loaded with everything on the lot.
