not sure if this is true or not, but awhile back I went down to watch some Z3ers at a Texas World Speedway. While there a Ferrari F50 took a couple laps (I even got to touch it while it was parked).
While talking to someone about Ferrari they said that you can't buy new Ferrari in the US any more. Ferrari only lets you lease it for 2 years then they take the car back. This policy was put in place to get a control on used Ferrari prices and so Ferrari could choose who gets to own their cars. I have no idea if this is true or not, but apparently it was at least true for that particular F50.
