...That's the road I took a crow up the Right Nostril. It's quite a sight to see a big black crow slide across that long hood straight towards you. When it hit the windshield, the airflow flipped it clear of the rear of the car. Don't drive down Hwy 25 around sunset - the birds sit on the blacktop for warmth.
Very fun road. Used to go down 101 and back via 25. One farmer has had his limit of speeders, though, so watch out for vigilantees on the road. He has a sign nailed up to a telephone poll that says "This isn't the damn freeway! SLOW DOWN!!!"
: Our car club came north on it one time...excellent deserted highway...speeds ranged from 35 - 125 mph...(yes, we were bad). Check out the map...
