I had part of the plastic around the sunvisor off...it's easy to remove. Another solution though is to just have the wire go under the seal. You won't even have to remove the black plastic trim pieces...

The door seal on the driver's side..it comes out very easily (and goes back in). This is the same seal that also covers the visor trimpiece. Just have the wire from the visor go behind the seal, and place it in the position where the A-pillar seal is along the door. Then remove the trim beneath the steering wheel. You can yank it in the little corner of the dash/steering wheel area and it goes underneath easily...then with the dash piece beneath the steering wheel you can route the wire to the instrument cluster.

I did this, except the V1 itself is not stealth:
