Pulled over once and ticketed once in th Z3. Was picked out of a line of cars all traveling the same speed, so I believe I was intended victim. Not unusual. I have had several sports cars and bunches of tickets - no lecture please. My experience:

Yes - Sporty cars get stopped for the silliest of things and for a lot of low speed events.

No - tickets are not more frequent than other cars - no good reason here, but do not seem to get caught speeding to any greater degree in higher performing car.

Yes - you get no slack when stopped. Invariably get ticket in sports car. Example : got ticket in Z3 46 in a 36. Got a warning in Volvo (with daughter in back seat no less) for 80 in a 60.

Expect it. Sometimes cops just want to have a look - humor them, they are in charge.
