I had been using the pipe insulation as the window pillow for my Z3, and many of you know that using the pillow will leave two dimples on the window. My solution was to cut two small pieces of the foam from the pipe insulation, and used double sided foam tape to attache them to the two plastic trimmings that caused the dimples. After two complete days of top-down position, the areas where the dimples once were now has two larger indentations, in the size of the foams I cut. However, these indentations were much softer and less noticeable compare to the dimples. Today I put the top up for about 2 hrs, and the indentations were completely gone. I think with the help of the heat from the sun or hair dryer, the indentations will cure even faster.
