I had the good fortune to install my Downing Supercharger on my '92 Miata a couple of years back. I also had the foresight to purchase it brand new used and work through the stained instructions, missing parts list, and preassembled bits from the previous owner. I am curious to hear your driving impressions. I deinstalled the Eaton S/C for a turbo set up. I think the Miata is better suited to be turbo charged rather than have that rather large hunk of metal sit attached to the engine block. As you may know, a Miata is 2100 lbs. sopping wet and the weight was felt on the front end. My feeling is that the first time that you hear the Eaton spin to full boost and hear that whine, you will be happy you did it. By the way, do they still use that rising rate fuel pressure regulator (fpr)?
