Check the upper shock mount. It is behind the big plastic bin/subwoofer enclosure, under the carpet. Push down on the horizontal section of the carpet lining the top weel to disengage the upper edge from the channel around the lower part of the top. Pull the carpet forward. The upper shocks are attached to a steel plate and covered by a rubber cap. Grasp the quare end of the shock with a crescent wrench and use an open end wrench to tighten the nut at eh base of the mount (I believe it is 16mm - not a common size).
I would also paray a little white grease on the rubbber bushings. This is also notorious for making a very distinctive clicking noise (like small cymbals) when the shock mount is a little loose. It is aggravating as it is right behind your ear.
