I suspect Z3's will be around a long time too chronologically speaking, since it will take many years for most of them to rack up 6-figures miles. Unless problems develop that no one was really expecting such as an inordinate rust problems. I didn't say they wouldn't last, I only meant to say their longevity is an unknown quantity at this point.

: that and the longevity of the E30 cars then I would expect Z3's to easily beat the 150,000 mile mark.

: My 325i Sport is 10 years old, has 92,700 on the clock and is rock solid, still does in excess of 130mph with ease and doesn't rattle.

: There are enough 200,000+ E30's and some long in the tooth E36's to ensure Z3's will be around for long while yet.
