straight tips. The Supersprint seems to meet your criteria perfectly.

1. It has a mellow sound only slightly louder than stock at light loads, but sounds "Grand Prix" when you accelerate medium to hard. Finally that damn hissing sound is gone when you floor it!

2. The huge straight tips coming out the rear look really great and authoritative compared to the stock ones.

3. You save 10 pounds exactly by installing the Supersprint over the stock system. You gain 5 HP and 5.9 ft. lbs. of torque at the rear wheels.

4. I installed it myself by simply backing the car up on floor ramps in my driveway. Had the brackets not been bent in shipping (as is very common) the installation would have taken less than an hour. It ended up taking four tries to get the fit perfect, as there is no room for error in the rear skirt cutout of the bumper due to the extremely large diameter of the tips. If you go with the upturned DTM tips, this is less of a problem due to the fact they are of a smaller diameter. I went with the straight tips because I wanted to maintain the car with a "stock German look", whereas the DTM tips have an Italian flair. I would definitely do it again! Good Luck!
