Brake Lines with a flush
I figure the dealer is trying to soak me (huh...ya think). They quoted 3.5 hours for the brake lines and 3 for the sway bars.
The intersting thing is thay also have an oil change, radiator hose replacement and a couple other items to do...and can still get it all done by the time they close at 7pm (they called at 1:15).
Not sure if this has anything to do with daylight savings time, new math or something similar (math has not been my strong point), but I can't see how they can actually quote 6.5 hours work plus oil change and other items and actually spend only 5.75 hours doing it all.
And...at $78/h (up from $63 just a couple months ago), I told them i would have someone else do it.
Can those who have performed these tasks comment on the time it took.
