GeneB, it may seem pointless at this time but never fear, your boot will get softer and will start to go on. Use the method suggested on this board, vertical snap of back two and then unroll flaps. As hard as this is the first time it does work and get easier. Kathy Melby is the best at this that I have seen and if you are still having trouble at Homecoming you should look her up. She was the first to get mine to go on in this way, now I can do it though not as fast but it gets better every time.

Let me warn you that if you don't snap all four down, I used to just do the side two, your boot can fly off. Ask me I know :( Scratched all to heck and after tying to have it repaired, I ended up buying my baby a new one.
