If you have the proper expectation that these Bass Shakers complement the sub frequencies, it does the job. They shouldn't be in replacement of the subs. I've got a pair attached "behind" the seats. There's a structural bar along the bottom of the rear back of the seat.

On tuning these buggers, don't set the gain too high and clip the mid/high frequencies, 150Hz on up. The gain must be set just to complement the bass frequency. If you set it too high, the Bass Shakers become too buzzy.
