: Did you cut the inside edge or the outside?

A> The edge that sits towards the front.

: Is there any space left deep inside the trunk behind the liner? Such as for an amplifier, if I go that route?

A> There's 3 inches between the liner and the front side of the trunk, but it's sealed-off by the liner (meaning no ventilation). Might mount ampl. on sloping surface just below the trunk light.

: How tall are the partitions in it?

A> Same as liner height, ~ 8 inches. There's 5 pieces: 1 about 30 inches and 4 about 13 inches each. All are about .25 ich thick and very rigid.

: And, was that SCUBA gear?

A> Yes, just as an example. Actually in New England waters it makes sense to rent a tank at your destination to make room for wet suit, BC, weight belt, mask, regulator, flippers, etcetcetc.

: $80 seems quite reasonable for it

A> My dealer charged $60 for the oem trunk mat. Like I said, it was better than nothing.
