: Now I have a line on a 1998 m roadster with 100 miles. Black with Black red leather. Was sold and the guy that committed to it back out the car has been sitting while the people fought it out in court. The dealer wants 38,500. My other choice is a 1999 oxford green with black and gray leather and 3600 miles for 39,000. Which sounds better. Appreciate any advice. Jim
Sometimes in April I was shopping for an M roadster. I run into a dealership that offered
a 98 with 0 miles for $ 38,500. It did seem like a substantial saving but I was concerned
with the fact that the car had been sitting and baking under the Miami sun for one year.
Anyway, by the time I sold my previous car the 98 roadster had been sold (the salesman
promised to hold it but another salesman sold it instead). I went to another dealership
and surprise surprise I purchased a brand new 99 with 0 miles for $ 39,500 including
destination charge and floor mats. The total with taxes was $ 42,659. I have no friends
or relatives at the dealership.
