that many of the German manufacturers have been pressured into to limit top speed of open top cars to 137MPH and all cars to 155MPH, or so the Automotive press would have us believe. This is supposedly to make the Green party in Germany happy, and protect unlimited speeds on certain parts of the Autobahn.

I'm sure between translation, distance, and dementia, I have misstated some of the facts, so any clarifications will be gratefully accepted.
