Tim;
Don't worry too much about color mixes. Cars will get out of order on the first stop. However breaking the cruisers into smaller groups is a good idea. I try to do that on my cruises. A leader and a Sweeper (someone bringing up the rear of each group). Keep the groups on different channels of the Talkabouts so that there is no confusion. If the leaders had extra radios, they could keep in touch on a completely different channel. Make sure everyone has detailed directions before the day of the Cruise so that everyone knoows the route and can hook up again if they get lost or are late. I have had success with making a local attraction part of the tour so that people can get out of their cars and socialize for a couple of hours. This has been a very popular format. Then do lunch and drive the rest of the way to dinner.

Make sure everyone knows how to get home from the last stop. It may be dark and you want everybody to get home safely.

Hope this helps

Wing Commander Mike Noble

Cheerio!
