Northeast Homecoming Convoy Web Site is up! (archive)

For those of you asking about convoys to Homecoming '99 from the Northeast - the first web site is up and running at http://www.blast.net/concrete/reunion.index.html. There should be all the info you need to make your plans if you wish to join us on this basic route. Last year we had nearly 30 Z3's parading down Interstate 81 to Spartanburg!

This trip will start with anyone from the Northeast gathering in Carlisle, PA (near Harrisburg) on Thursday morning September 2nd and heading pretty much straight down Interstate 81 through West Virginia, Virginia, to Interstate 77 through North Carolina and then finally Interstate 85 into Spartanburg SC for the big event.

Others are considering alternate routes, including the longer trip to meet up with the other convoys in Nashville, and possibly heading down I-95 to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, but last year this was far and away the most popular, so I just put the route back up and you can all start choosing your plans.

As soon as people take charge of the Nashville or CBBT route or put up web sites I will post those details and links on this site as well.
