The Message Board was well represented at todays grand opening event at Momentum BMW's new Performance Center(at least 9 regulars that I know of). From listening to Steve Dinan and my personal experience, I would say that the first upgrade we need is some better rubber on the road and after that some suspension upgrades. True gains from chip, intake and exhaust over what is currently tuned in by BMW will likely not equal what can be achieved on the suspension side.
: Just came back from seeing Steve Dinan in Houston. In talking to the Dinan reps on site I am told that the first thing they would recommend for my 99 M-Roadster is the Stage 1 suspension upgrade. This before any chips or other engine enhancements. My question is this, specifically towards the M-Roadster:
: Are there suspension modifications that substantially improve the already excellent handling of the M?
: And is it ageeable that the best bang for the buck would come from suspension upgrade as opposed to engine tuning??
