With the $500, you can buy a windscreen ($100), trunk organizer ($100), chrome exhaust tips ($28), and car cover ($150) and still have enough spare change for your first speeding violation($75). I'd definitely pass on the detailing offer and do it myself with a couple bottles of Meguiar's, a couple of soft diapers, and a can of beer. Note sure if I'd trust my $34K baby to some dealership detail dude with an orbital buffer anyhow. I can see the swirl marks coming already...
: My Z3 will be delivered soon. My dealer offers a package to protect the paint (and interior).
: The external protection is not a clear laquer or anything, but something that's buffed on
: (could it be a teflon loaded wax?). The cost is $500.
: Should I go for it?
