putting an extra grand or two on an addendum sticker, and pasted onto cars that are actually selling everywhere at a discount BELOW the factory sticker! I've seen those at a few dealers (not BMW) and the only conceivable purpose I can think of they serve is to make incredibly naive people think they're getting a bigger trade-in allowance. I mean, why else would they want to artificially increase "sticker shock"?
: : I'd definitely pass on the detailing offer and do it myself with a couple bottles of Meguiar's, a couple of soft diapers, and a can of beer.
: Several dealerships (not BMW) I went to several years ago had the nerve to put an add-on sticker next to the original with some add-ons like paint sealer and floor mats, but one had the balls to put the exact words "Adjusted Dealer Profit" right next to $500 on their sticker's subtotal. What this dealer is doing is essentially the same thing. Don't do it.
: Needless to say, I didn't buy from there.
