Some of the described harshness of the 2.8L during hard cornering may be due to chassis stiffness. The M is stiffer because it comes with sub from connectors from the factory. Adding sub frame connectors and a strut brace to the 2.8L may make a nice compromise, improving the feel of the car during hard cornering and on very rough surfaces without further sacrificing ride comfort in any circumstances.

Coupes chassis are always stiffer than roadsters chassis. All suspension components being equal, they really arenít comparable.

However, there is no argument that the M-Z3 has had more considerations for performance and the sum of those considerations can be felt in the seat of the pants and by the stop watch.
