Seems like somewhere I read that it was only recently the 100,000th Z3 was produced. I'm a bit surprised that over 75000 have been sold in the US if that is true, since it means the vast majority are produced for US consumption. I was under the impression BMW's worldwide sales of all models reflected a much smaller percentage than that being sold here though the US may be their biggest single market. Is this entire roadster revival primarily a US phenom or what?

: Last night Alan updated the sales history and charts so we now have a complete history from Feb 96 through Dec 99.

: If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for improving the presentation of the sales data or the charts I would like to hear from you.

: Thanks Alan.
