I was under the impression that the cell phone antenna (at least on my 2000 M) was somehow integrated into the radio antenna. Am I wrong??

Thanks,
Artie

: : I know this subject must have come up in the past, but does anyone have any information on how to use the pre-wiring to hook up a cell phone? Additionally, where do you find the wiring and is there an antenna connection as well?

: : Thanks new MZ3 owner,

: Artie,

: My '97 model came with the factory phone. The phone mounts into the front compartment of the cupholder/armrest assembly. It has a built-in speaker as part of the phone holder, and uses a hands-free microphone that mounts in one of the blanks near the A/C switch. The wiring is under the center console.

: The factory phone kit uses a flat panel antenna that mounts behind the passenger seat to the back side of the storage bin/subwoofer holder, and is visible in the top well. The antenna is part of the phone kit; I don't know if the antenna or the hands-free microphone are available separately.
