EBC has a great reputation for Motorcycle pads. The only thing I have heard is that they do offer pads for cars now. I "feel" they should be fine.

The Porterfield R-4S pads seem to be a good street/track pad. I use them on the street as do many others here.

I guess it's a little early to judge the EBC pads (they came out at the end of the season last year).
