I have an 98 M, I lurve my car to death, have had it nearly a year, its great blah blah blah, had a 1.9 before so I know how fab the M is etc etc etc

Before that I had an MR2 whose performance, looks etc were all ok and groovy, HOWEVER the brakes were a MILLION miles better in the WET. I say this after driving back from manchester airport tonight in monsoon conditions, went to apply the brakes - NOTHING for about 1-2 hours (it was probably only 1/2 a second, just things seem to slow down when your life passes before you!!!). Am I remebering my MR2 with rose coloured glasses? do all cars exhibit this behaviour in the wet???? I'm sure my wifes Rover 600 isn't as bad as this!!!

Got some NEW 255/40/17 Dunlops - FANTASTIC in the wet!! shame about the brakes!! If your tyres are wearing, and it rains alot replace them , its weeeelll worth it!!!
