: : I was under the impression that the cell phone antenna (at least on my 2000 M) was somehow integrated into the radio antenna. Am I wrong??

: Artie:

: For a 2000 M Roadster, I don't know. I think you will have to do some exploratory surgery to verify for yourself.

: I know in my '97 Z3 1.9, there is an additional antenna that came with the phone kit. I haven't taken apart my trunk yet to see if there is a cell antenna connector coming off the existing antenna.

I know that the wiring is a bear to find. I have searched all in my console for over a week now and have not been able to locate the wiring harness for the cellualr phone. Good luck. I have read all posted on the message boards and had help from the experts out there. Will now give up and resor to the dealer.
