Also if you want to measure the performance gains or loss of a modification under OBD-II you have to clear the DME, dyno, make the mods, clear the DME again and dyno again. That is the only way to get true results.
: I just had my 99 M roadster dyno tested in preparation to upgrading the exhaust and cold air intake. To my surprise, when we ran the test in 5th I got all the way to 150mph at redline (both on car's speedo and the dyno's).
: I was expecting the computer to shut it down at 137, now I may reconsider buying the ODBII reprogramming from Dinan or Jim C.
: I'll post all the results when the mods are finished, but stock HP was 211 at the rear wheels.
