caller ID, voice mail, etc. But some features that work just fantastic with the car itself is the radio muting and has call on the screen when incoming calls arrive. This feature in a convertible with the radio clear up, is a fantastic thing! Also it charges for me all the time so donot have to have that ugly cord or desk top charger in the house. It is completely hidden away and has a spot that is accesible without it dangling here or there. Also it comes with a handsfree kit that mounts on your dash where it is supposed to be. To me, all these features are worth the cost and the hook up does not require dismantling the entire car from front to back. Digital is not really an option yet where I live and may not be for years. So this whole picture was right for me as it may be for the very particular car buff who likes things just so so and does not mind paying a little more for it. Also, it makes the car worth more when you start figuring the options. They donot care unless you have a stock BMW phone to credit you for.
