: When the heating system is first heating up the car on a cold day, it keeps the recirculate vents on recirculate even though the recirculate button is not set to ON. Then, when the engine can supply enough heat to the car it sets the recirculate vents back to OFF which results in fresh (cold) air coming into the car (depending on where the red/blue dot thumbwheel is set). Its only momentary---then heat will come out all the time as normal. Its a way to heat up the car fast and still get fresh air inside.

: : Has anyone had problems when they turn their fan on (when the heater is on) and for a while it blows hot, then a few miles down the road it blows cold??? I have to turn the fan off, the wait a second or two, then turn it back on and it's blowing hot air again, what's the deal??? I know it's not THAT cold here in Texas, but give me a break!!! I'm on the road at 5:00am when it's 35 degrees.
