: and produce the same power?
There was a rumor that somebody stated on here (I can't verify it's accuracy) that the 01 M would get the present Euro engine (3.2L with 321hp). I doubt this because BMW is not big enough to produce a 3.2L with 321hp and a 3.4L with 340hp (BMW would not get the economies of scale with the increased production of the same engine for the M roadster/coupe and E46 M3) IOW, the very reason we didn't get it in the first place is reason enough to not get it now. OTOH, I did hear (even from the M guy in SC) that the engine might be a 3.2 with a larger intake.
: Will it have six throttle bodies like the euro 3.2?
I have heard to save production costs it might not have the individual butterflies
: How will it be geared? Suspension/Brake/Chassis changes?
My guess is it will be geared the same as the present Euro M roadster (so no appreciable increase in performance). Other changes will probably make the car very similar to the Euro spec car. Compare the Euro and US M5s- one thing I know the Euro version gets that the US doesn't is the front floating rotors (Euro M roadster gets those now).
Will it have a six speed MT. Oh so many questions!
Hmm...the Euro M roadster doesn't have it. I have heard the 6 speed doesn't fit into the tranny tunnel. Bekker's sells a 6 sped kit they claim fits the Z3. I dunno, but I asked at HC if a 6 speed and/or SMG was coming in the E36/7 body and I thought the answer was maybe for the 6 speed (but somebody else thought he said no), but I do know it was said no SMG for this body.
