My parents own an Acura Integra. Its a very sporty car, but different from other cars. I wouldn't say that it is superior. The engine is certianly smooth and powerful, but the interior is a bit cheesy and the seats are as hard as a church bench.

Every car has its trade offs. Spend money on the engine, and you have less to spend on the interior. I think that BMW does the best job of spreading its money around. Yes, empiraclly, the Z3 2.8 gives up some performance to the S2000. But, the average driver, for a variety of reasons, can't rev up to 9000 rpm.

Both cars are excellent cars. As the soldier says in the final scene of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, "Choose wisely."
