: To save my 99 Z3 2.8 Coupe from the lousy Boston Winter Weather I bought a JEEP Wrangler to use on inclement days.Until last I have been able to drive the Z3 1-2 days / week, each time 10-15 miles each way.To date the car has performed flawlesly and the battery seems to stay charged. We recently had a change in weather with snow and very cold which has the streets messy and full of sand/salt.So the Z3 is in the gRge and I have been using the JEEP. The question is how long can I keep the Z3 in a semi-heated garage withiut disconnecting the battery or using a trickle charger and not having the battery go dead.I have the possibility of pulling the car out of the garage every so often and running it for15-20 min at idle or even at 2000 RPM and doing this every week or so.My hope is that the streets will be clear enough to take the car out occasionally as I have done, but with the current weather spell it could be 1-2 weeks. What experience has any one had.Any info appreciated.I was trying to avoid the use of a charger or disconnecting the battery i.e how long can it reasonably sit in the garage without trouble given it had been used every week until this recent weather. THANKS

I heard that the best solution is to overinflate your tires to avoid the flat spots. It's easier than rise it.And for the battery I don't see why it's going to discharge if you let your Z on the grge.I have been let another cars without use for weeks with no problem at all.
