I recently purchased a Racing Dynamics strut brace for my 99 M Coupe and found out that it required the passenger side brace clamp to be nearly half moon shaped as the negative battery terminal "I know battery is in trunk" is also on the strut tower top. Since they made one side half moon shaped I guess it made since for them to make other side the same. Not sure how Dinan solved the problem or even if Z3's "non coupe" have the same issue. Hope this was some help.

: : does anyone know if the DINAN struct brace will fit both the 2.8 and the M roadster? Did DINAN make one just to fit the ///M or is the struct or both? Will a DINAN struct brace that was used on a 2.8 will fit into the ///M? Please let me know...thank you

: Yes the strut brace will fit fine. I just put one on my ///M a couple of weeks ago. I havn't tried it on the track yet but it seems much tighter on the street.

: enjoy
