I have an apointment to take my '00 2.3 in to fix the speedometer on the 25th. This error is driving me crazy!!!! I never know what speed I'm really doing.

I'll let you all know if they will fix it.

But I've not seen an error like this since my old Austin Healy Sprite 12 cars and 30 years ago. And to say 10% is within limits is ridiculous. It makes the speedometer almost useless!

: Mine is 6 to 8% off: shows 54 mph when actually going 50, etc.
: Defective?

: 00 2.3 (auto, 1500 miles, 10/99 build date)
