I too enjoy the stare factor that Sue has so eloquently described. Pretty cool to pull up to the stoplight and know that pretty much anyone who's paying attention is probably looking at your car (although I may experience this to a lesser degree living in the SF Bay Area where I sometimes end up at an intersection with 1 or more other M/Z3s).

My question concerns the proper reaction to The Stare.

Do you
1) Smile and wave?
2) Stare back?
3) Pretend to intently study your LeatherZ armrest and whatever is in the storage comapartment?
4) Double check that you're securely in 1st with a good clutch pedal position for a smooth, quick, leave-'em-at-the-light launch?
5) Check your your hair and teeth in the rear view before giving a wink and a smile?

Any other suggestions?
Just wondering.
