i put a dinan chip in my 1.9 and a magnaflow muffler. oh what a diffeence! bmw did the chip upgrade and a local muffler shop did the muffler. the power increase is conservatively +12 - 14hp. chip alone dinan says +8 exhaust is free flow like supersprint about 5 - 7hp easy. cost of chip 368.00 installed muffler 150.00 and it is stainless! my suggestion, JUST DO IT!!!


: I would like suggestions as well as prices/performance #s if possible for all the aftermarket chip available for a 97 1.9. If you have one, was it worth it and would you do it again? Thanks in advance
