Yeah - in the bigger fun part - managing the twisties - the difference between the 1.9 and the 2.8 can be managed by the driver. I think I could run a 1.9 with my 2.8 very well through tight corners. I agree that my 2.8 does give a better goose at around 80 -90 mph.

My only caveat is that with an unmodified 1.9 vs. an unmodified 2.8, the 2.8 can really torque hard out of the high speed turns when the road allows it.
