: First off that shot of your baby with the backround of rolling hill is a BEAUTY!

: Jeez, that is wonderful.

That is now my Windows background. Problem is that it's way too tempting to keep all the doucment windows closed so I can stare at the car.

: Second, thank you for the spare instructions, I am printing them as I write this. 7 pages hmmmmm.

: I never saw the procedure so I am appropriately intimidated. Like, you need a second person to help shove the cradle back in, but you need NOT to have a second person if you plan on taking your wheel with you when you are done. I guess I better hope Casper the friendly ghost shows up.

: If I do get stuck, it will be nice to have your fun directions to refer to.

: Thank you for the instructions! Now I want more. There is a long part where you describe things without pictures.... pics please?????

Glad they were entertaining. I was actually able to get the spare cradle wedged back in by myself, but it involved a less than comfortable contortion that would have been impossible if I weren't 6'1" with very long arms (I basically kneeled behind the car with my right leg shoving the cradle up from below so I could get the nut to grab the bolt. Good thing I wore old jeans...

As for more pics of the blurry parts, I'll have to see what I can do. Turnaround time is substantial since I'm non-digital photography-wise.

: The car looks sensational, love the UC Bezerkly license frame!

Had to get the license frame to cut down on the
"What does your license plate mean?" questions. Car has yet to visit its namesake campus and hopefully never will. Berkeley is one of my favorite places on earth (there must have been a good reason to do 10 years of school and 3 degrees in the same place :o), but if a less car-friendly place exists, I have yet to find it. Potholes and gravel and meter maids, oh my!

Mike
