I'm not sure about the valet mode in the alarm. I didn't know there was such a thing for the Z3's. What is it supposed to do?

I do have a valet key with my M Roadster and would think that your Z3 should have one too. With your Z3 you should have been given 4 keys. Two master keys (one with a light one without), one valet key and one emergency key.

Also, Do you have the factory alarm?

: i have a problem with an alarm system on a Z3. I cannot get it out of the valet mode and into the normal lock mode. it is not my car and the owners manual is no where to be found. On my e39 i have seperate keys; one for valet and one for myself. Is it the same with the Z3. What can i do to get this thing into the normal security mode when i lock it up?
