I too have had the clock lighting out whenever the dealer had to get under the dash. Seems like the lamp socket easily pops out of the back of the clock. The first time I made another appt. to have it fixed, then I investigated and found out that if you remove the cover for computer access on the RH side of the console you can see if the bulb is loose, turn on the parking lights and look. I removed the visable screws on the RH side panel and by looking into the computer access hole and contorting my arm around the loosened panel I was able to reach in and insert the lamp holder. VIOLA! clock lighting. Check it out and good luck.
